Wham ‘Veggie Ham’ Salad

  • Worthington Wham product.  It comes in a giant tube usually frozen or you can find the Wham vegetable protein slices
  •  3 Tb Mayo (up to a 1/4 cup if using more Wham)
  • 2 Tb  Dill Pickle Relish (add more to taste if using more Wham)
  • 2 Ribs of Celery chopped small  approx 1/2 cup
  • 1 small Onion chopped fine approx 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 cup sliced Black Olives
  • 3 hard boiled Eggs chopped

Chop Wham into cubes.  If using slices ..use about 10 slices.  If using the tube style Chop a few cups,  I use about 2 1/2 cups of the wham so portion it how much you would like

Add everything to bowl and mix up well

Refrig if you want it chilled.  use as dip or spread onto a sandwich.  ITS REALLY GOOD!

NOTE:  you can usually find Worthington products at local health food stores.  I’ve never seen them in regular grocer .  Worthington has many vegetarian products.  Canned and frozen


  • 2 Hard boiled eggs Chopped
  • 1T Buttermilk Ranch dressing
  • 1 T (or to your desire) Mayo
  • 1/4 teas Onion Powder
  • Celery seed-pinch
  • 1 Dill pickle chopped finely
  • 1 teas Dijon mustard

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl, spread on bread or crackers

You can do Vegan with Xfirm tofu and Vegan dressing and Mayo 

Creamy Cole Slaw

Go get:

  • Bag of Home style diced slaw about 6 cups
  • 1/3 cup Mayo
  • 2 teas sugar
  • 1 teas salt
  • 2 Tbl Vinegar
  • small handful of celery seed
  • 2 green onions chopped or 1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onion


Wisk together vinegar and sugar.  Add salt and celery seed.  Add mayo mix well.  Add slaw and onion toss to combine well.

Fridge till chilled

Overnight Salad

Here’s what you need:

Chopped lettuce, I prefer romaine  (apprx 1 bag torn or chopped)

Hard boiled eggs  (10 eggs sliced) If you don’t do eggs, marinated tofu’s good too!

Chopped onion  (1 cup onion)

Chopped celery  (1 cup celery–3 to 4 stalks)

Chopped green pepper  (1 cup pepper)

Peas  (one bag frozen)

Miracle Whip or Vegan Mayo  (now this depends..2 cups or less)

Cheddar cheese or Vegan Cheddar  (2 cups shredded)

Now depending on how much overnight salad you want to make will depend on how much ingredients to use.  The above is based on a 13X9 pan.  Also if you like more of one ingredient then add more.

Start to layer

  1.  Lettuce
  2.  Onion
  3.  Celery
  4.  Green pepper
  5.  Peas
  6.  Eggs
  7.  Miracle Whip  (you literally frost the entire top)
  8.  Cheese  (Sprinkle over MW)

Cover and set in Fridge for an hour!  Its really good.
